Our distillery is Việt Nam’s first full-scale whisky distillery for single malt whiskies, distilling in traditional copper pot stills.
Our gin and rum are distilled in a steam jacketed, 8 plate pot still.
Meet our world award winning master whisky distiller, Edward began as a Cognac distiller with Domaine Privé Cognac (with a thus irrepressible attraction to eau de vies). He established his own pioneering distillery in Portchester, NY, and before joining us, was the president and master distiller for Copal Tree Distillery in the heart of the Belizean rainforest. Edward has an exceptional dedication to creative perfection.

From a traditional village in Hà Tĩnh prized for its rice liquor distilling, Nguyễn Thị Lan Anh, our head brewer, grew up within the spirits industry. Her mother distilled, offering her a home surrounded, as she says, “by the enchanting aroma of rice wine.” She lived within sight of one of Việt Nam’s largest breweries. All of which influenced her decision to pursue studies in food technology.
Among her notable achievements, in addition to being both Hà Nội’s first female brewer and then head brewer, was winning First Prize at the 7th National Conference on Scientific Research for Agri-Forestry-Fishery-Irrigation Universities and Colleges in 2016 for her project on distilling dragon fruit eau de vie.

After years driving long haul trucks across Russia, Dũng returned home to Việt Nam following an offer from Về Để Đi to learn distilling from our master distiller.
He is the principal operator for our distillations, including running both our wash still, and our spirit still, as we craft Việt Nam’s first premier single malt whiskies.
He is proudly pioneering a generation of new Vietnamese distillers.
